Chiang Mai, a city located in the lush northern region of Thailand, is a hub for digital nomads and travelers alike. With its charming culture, breathtaking scenery, and low cost of living, it’s no wonder that this city has become a popular destination for those looking to experience a unique and fulfilling lifestyle.

The city is surrounded by mountains and filled with ancient temples, making it a place of true cultural and natural beauty. With its vibrant food scene, bustling night markets, and bustling local communities, there is never a dull moment in Chiang Mai. Whether you’re looking to escape the fast-paced lifestyle of a big city or to experience a new culture, Chiang Mai offers an exceptional experience.

For digital nomads, the cost of living in Chiang Mai is much lower compared to other major cities, making it an attractive destination for those looking to stretch their budget and live a comfortable life. With a large number of coworking spaces and cafes with fast internet, it’s easy to stay connected and productive while working remotely.

The city is also an ideal base for exploring the rest of Asia, with its international airport making it easy to travel to other countries and cities in the region. Whether you want to take a weekend trip to Bali, Vietnam, or other exotic destinations, Chiang Mai is the perfect starting point.

But what truly sets Chiang Mai apart is its rich culture and traditions. From the local street food and handmade crafts, to the stunning temples and traditional festivals, the city truly offers a unique blend of Thai and Lanna culture. What to see in Koh Phangan

Haad Rin
Beach

The famous ‘Full Moon Party’ beach is an amazing beautiful sandy beach that’s perfect for swimming. Lots of beachfront restaraunts and (low quality) nightlife blasting popular music.

Haad Yuan
Beach

Remote and secluded beach which requires a 1hr+ hike or a boat ride from Haad Rin. Haad Yuan has a really nice vibe of long-stayers with many friendly people to meet.

Mae Haad
Beach

Great beach for swimming and snorkelling with an uninhabited island. Go snorkelling to the left and behind the island to see hundreds of colourful fish.

Panthip
Market

A meeting point on the island with up to 40 street food vendors selling Greek, Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern, Russian, and Thai food.

Saturday
Market

A weekly market where Thai people come from all over the region to sell food, clothes, jewellery, souvenirs. A must see at least once if you are on the island long term.
